Hello, I am Dr. Stacy Hollingsworth—a forensic psychologist, missionary, and advocate for vulnerable women and children. Throughout my life and career, I have been deeply committed to sharing the love of Christ by walking alongside people in some of their most painful and vulnerable moments. Whether serving through ministry, counseling, or missions work, I have always believed that true transformation begins when compassion moves beyond words and into action.

In 2015, while serving with Mission to the World in Kenya, I was asked to teach women about the realities of human trafficking within their own communities. As I prepared for that assignment, I was confronted with the devastating scope of trafficking in Kenya, the extreme economic instability many women face, and the heartbreaking vulnerabilities that leave women and girls trapped in cycles of exploitation and poverty. What began as research for a presentation quickly became a life-changing calling.

While serving in Kenya, I felt God asking me a question I could not ignore: “What are you going to do about it?” That question transformed my mission from simply raising awareness to actively creating opportunities for hope, dignity, and empowerment. Out of that calling, The Esther Project Shop was born—a ministry and mission dedicated to supporting and empowering women and children through sustainable opportunity, advocacy, and the love of Christ.

What sets my message apart is that I do not speak only from statistics or secondhand stories. I speak from firsthand experience in Kenya, from relationships with women whose lives have been impacted by trafficking and poverty, and from years of professional experience understanding trauma, exploitation, resilience, and healing. My background as a forensic psychologist allows me to bring both clinical insight and deep compassion to conversations surrounding human trafficking, trauma, poverty, and the unique challenges women and children face globally.

Today, I am passionate about helping churches, organizations, and communities move beyond awareness into meaningful action. My desire is not only to inform audiences about the plight of women in Kenya, but to inspire people to see the humanity behind the crisis and recognize that every woman and child deserves safety, dignity, opportunity, and hope.

In Him

Stacy
